Our Speech-language Pathologists provide services to treat the following disorders:

Articulation- Ability to use developmentally appropriate sounds

Receptive language skills- Ability to comprehend spoken or written language in order to adequately follow conversation, directions, answer questions and solve problems.

Expressive Language Skills- Ability to use verbal language skills for communication of wants and needs using grammatically appropriate sentence structure and vocabulary.

Dysphagia- Services are provided to treat swallowing disorders affecting the ability to swallow food safely without aspiration of solids and liquids. Dysphagia may lead to aspiration pneumonia and may lead to death if not treated.

Apraxia of Speech- A motor speech disorder in which the client has difficulty planning motor movements for sounds, syllables, or words.

Early Intervention- Services provided to children birth-3 years of age promoting the function and engagement of infants, toddlers, and their families. This program is based on a family centered therapeutic approach.

Stuttering- Fluency Disorders- Ability to use verbal language for communication to produce smooth fluent speech without repetitions.

Speech/ Language Maintenance- A program designed to prevent regressions of speech and language skills previously learned.

Pragmatics- Clients work on social communication skills including the ability to understand and use language for functional purposes for socially acceptable interactions with communication partners.

Feeding-Services are provided to treat conditions consisting of impaired oral intake, a condition in which children avoid eating or limits what he or she will eat. This leads to problems including weight-loss, nutritional deficiency resulting in a need for nutritional supplements.

We offer individualized tele-therapy sessions in which all services are provided via computer, mobile in-home services and face to face services.
