The Learning Loft is a holistic-based practice that provides speech, language and swallowing therapy to individuals ages birth-21 years. In addition to therapeutic services, we offer a state of the art afterschool program that provides enrichment for students in grades K-8 living in the Central Florida area. Because there's not enough time during the school day for students to get all they need in a traditional educational setting, our after school program prides itself on serving the “whole child". Students are given the tools needed to establish a solid foundation in the areas of communication, social interaction and academic enrichment.

A Committed Partner

We use a multi-disciplinary approach integrating curriculum and therapeutic practices combined to enhance each child's educational experience. Too often, traditional education within a public school setting does not allow students to be met where they are in learning. Building new knowledge on top of old foundational gaps, creates future struggling learners. Many classroom teachers struggle with meeting the independent needs of each individual student.

Before learning takes place, students must be able to understand information presented. The ability to understand is often preceded by the ability to process language. Processing language is one of the core foundational skills needed when learning new content. Our educators are dually certified with advanced degrees in both educational instruction and speech-language pathology. The educational strategies that we provide focus on strengthening student's ability to process, retain, and organize learned content. We are committed to partnering with other educators, parents, students and the community to help create life long learners and future leaders.

Flexible Options

Therapy Services -Are you tired of your child missing time from school to attend private therapy sessions during the day? Is your child receiving speech-language therapy within the school session and he or she isn't showing growth? We offer flexible private therapy services which includes concierge style home-based therapy, tele-therapy (online), and group therapy in our after-school program. In addition, we offer a maintenance therapy program during the summer to prevent setbacks in communication.
